A room-temperature digital probe is placed in a stirred warm-water bath whose temperature is monitored by a reference thermometer. Available equipment and procedure options: Use two thermometers, a stopwatch, a stirred bath and fresh room-temperature probe resets. Design an investigation of how the waiting time after immersing the probe affects the difference between probe and reference temperatures. Include a reasoned hypothesis, an appropriate range, controls, repeat measurements, a results table or graph, and one specific limitation and safety measure. Do not invent experimental results.

What a complete response should do
Define what changes and what is measured, then give a reproducible method and a way to judge the evidence.
Name the standard relationship first, keep units attached, and show the substitution before the result.
