Challenge 1 of 3
Warm the fixed chamber
A rigid 10 L chamber contains 0.50 mol of gas. Change its equilibrium temperature to match the dock.
Challenge cleared. Continue to unlock the next experiment.Handles also support arrow keys; the sliders offer the same controls.
Reach a pressure between 145 and 155 kPa.

3 stars on your first test; 2 within three; 1 after that. A first clear earns 100 XP plus 10 per star. Better star records earn the difference; repeating a record earns no extra XP.
Your experiment is ready.
Use absolute temperature and the ideal-gas law to control pressure, then satisfy simultaneous pressure, temperature and clearance limits.

The physics behind the game
Use absolute temperature and the ideal-gas law to control pressure, then satisfy simultaneous pressure, temperature and clearance limits.

Model assumptions. Each attempt compares equilibrium states of a sealed ideal gas with constant n. Temperature is in kelvin, volume in litres and pressure in kilopascals. Compression paths, heat flow and real-gas effects are outside the model.
