Challenge 1 of 3
One tilted analyser
A beam is prepared spin-up along 0°. Keep the + output of one tilted analyser.
Challenge cleared. Continue to unlock the next experiment.Handles also support arrow keys; the sliders offer the same controls.
Route an expected 73–77% of the original beam into the + output.

3 stars on your first test; 2 within three; 1 after that. A first clear earns 100 XP plus 10 per star. Better star records earn the difference; repeating a record earns no extra XP.

The physics behind the game
Apply the spin-half Born probability and the post-measurement state to single analysers and a two-stage Stern–Gerlach cascade.
P(+) = cos²[(θ − α)/2]; P(cascade) = P(first +) × P(final + | first +)
Model assumptions. Ideal spin-half projective analysers lie in one plane and keep only their + output. Each surviving state is prepared along that analyser’s axis. Percentages are ensemble probabilities, with no sampling noise used for scoring. Spin is an internal quantum degree of freedom, not a spinning ball.
