A fixed amount of gas follows the straight-sided cycle A→B→C→A. Its vertices (volume in litres, pressure in kPa) are A = (1.7, 135), B = (1.7, 215), C = (3.7, 215). All connecting paths are straight. Over a complete cycle the total heat input is 540 J. Use 1 kPa·L = 1 J. Find net work done by the gas, net heat transfer, rejected heat magnitude and efficiency. Explain the sign of the net work.
