Two positive point charges are fixed on the x axis: +Q = +2.000 × 10-9 C at x = 0 and +4Q = +8.000 × 10-9 C at x = 0.4 m. Use k = 8.99 × 10⁹ N m² C⁻² and neglect every other field. Find the finite point on the line where the net electric field is zero, calculate the magnitude of each individual field there, and explain why no zero-field point lies outside the two charges.
