A sphere of radius 3.800 × 10-4 m and density 7800 kg m⁻³ falls at terminal speed 0.003995437 m s⁻¹ in a liquid of density 1200 kg m⁻³. Use g = 9.81 m s⁻². Assume slow laminar flow, a wide vessel and Stokes drag Fd = 6πηrv. The sphere volume is 4πr³/3. Determine the dynamic viscosity η, predict the terminal speed for radius 2r under the same model, and explain two experimental precautions.

What a complete response should do
Define what changes and what is measured, then give a reproducible method and a way to judge the evidence.
Split the problem into linked stages and state why each relationship applies.
