Physics 1 and Physics 2 are algebra-based. The two Physics C courses use calculus and have separate exams. Physics 1 includes fluids; thermodynamics, electricity, magnetism, optics and modern physics belong to Physics 2. The topic shortcuts above identify their specific course and unit.
